The Tara.Ed Sister School Relationship Program links together an Australian and an Indian primary school to create cross-cultural links through written/cyber interaction between teachers and students within the context of curriculum. In a rapidly globalising world, education has a responsibility to expand international horizons and engage students in cultural studies. As well as providing a fundraising base for educational resources and professional support for teachers of both countries, such interaction promotes cultural understanding and racial tolerance in primary students.
