The inaugural Tara.Ed Teacher Tour took three Australian Pre-Service Teachers to the village of Ajra.
The Tour’s focus project was the computer lab, eight laptop computers, donated by Gartner IT were installed in the school and both Australian and Indian teachers participated in after-school seminars on ICT education, hosted by Professor Ian Gibson.
Over the course of three weeks, the Tara.Ed Teacher Tour impacted 500 students, and 14 teachers.
